The flowers stand taller the days she’s around
The lush in the green stretches to reach her from the ground
The wind carries her voice, a fragile precious thing
And church bells break silence, of her grace they do sing
The moon lowers down for a glimpse of her form
And bathes her, glowing beauty so soft forever warm
The colors of this life, more vibrant because she looks
Of her men have written many sonnets, many books
Thru centuries, thru combat, thru loss, love and pain
Her features, her strong heart, her love told of again and again
How tiny I feel in this world her hand on mine
But for you to find me in this life..it all feels by design
Forever I’ll stay true, forever we are free
Forever I beg you. Forever please love me.
