She May Have Been a Doppelganger
I swear I saw Meme Tereza
yesterday
waiting in a queue and praying
that the next flight
would depart on time
from gate fifteen, Tirana Airport ..
On second thoughts,
she may have just been asking
the day to be kind
to each and every single one of us ..
The plane though, was very much
delayed regardless ..
So I guess, she might have been
a doppelganger, after all ..

they are far from my favourite pastime too, but often a necessity .. Albania because I was asked to present at an International conference & got a very subsidized holiday out of it .. I would certainly go back there, but never hire a car again ..
A car? very down to earth..... Admire your stamina.
LOL Albania has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. 🤣 cheaper than anywhere in Italy this year, I do feel for the airport hold ups though! 💖
Thinking of returning late next year .. the beaches are FAB aren't they and yes, everything is ridiculously affordable .. Did you know until 1990 beards were forbidden & no one with a beard was allowed to enter the country regardless of whether you were a male or a female .. ❤️
It's a Muslim country, but I didn't know that, 💖 I have a beautiful friend here who was in military service. One of the most kindest guys I know. 💖
