For Lucy

All_thethingsishouldofsaid

Love can be found across oceans, or as sunlight drifting through the window, bathing you in warm rays of yellow light.

Where love is found, there is hope.

You will break, you will feel raw, numb, and lost.
But you will come home again, back to the parts and people that make you whole.

It may not always be straightforward but the road ahead is yours to walk alone.
I hope you find time for yourself, a moment to breathe, in between all the chaos of life.

You are in control of your own progress,
No one else gets to decide for you, no one else gets to tell you what defines your“getting better.” All the things you struggle with are yours, your battles are yours. Your life is yours to live how you decide to.

One cloudy day, I went to lunch with some friends, enjoying the company and serenity.
But sometimes you need to just stop and breathe in fresh air. See the clouds part, and the sun shine, and in that fraction of a moment, the feeling that world feels healed.

All sounds of being alive, of wanting all this healing to be so much more.

You will often ask yourself who was I back then

who am I now

who will I be

And even if you don’t have the answer

I suppose the real journey

is just to keep going.

The space in your heart that opens and closes to love, still keeps your pulse beating to all the love inside of you.

The world needs you.

I need you.

You need to be lost, to learn, and grow. When you struggle, you can only then  understand what being grateful really means.

Everybody heals in different ways, at different paces. We fight the good fight, and we stand tall on our own, but sometimes it’s just nice to be reminded you aren’t alone.

What are you looking for

What do you want to be

What do you do when you fall

These are good questions to ask yourself. So listen to others, so that they can teach you to be self aware and grow.
Listen to yourself so you can have healthy boundaries in relationships and self love for the times when you feel love is lacking in your life.

The harshest critic of you, will always be you.
And when you fall, get back up and rise to new heights.
Stay the course and when lost in the darkness, allow the people you love guide you back into the light.
