I'm So Alive

I open my eyes

See the sun rise

Bathed in its glow

For perhaps the first time

I lift myself up

Pale arms like doves

Hair like the wispy willow trees above

And I stand,

An awkward try

I manage to succeed

And now I will not lie

This is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen

I've just been born, but I'm so alive
