Mirror\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s Gaze

Frank000

Though art but a mirror
Casting shadows of disdain
To judge me
Is to reveal thy own inner pain

For in thy eyes
A distorted image does appear
Only a reflection of thyself
Clouded by fear

In thy act of judging
Thou does reveal
The flaws and imperfections
That thy heart does conceal

Thy words like bitter arrows
Seek to wound
Yet they ever do rebound
And go quietly to their tomb
