To the Man Who Inspired Many: Terry Fox

Cedrick

From Manitoba's province, he clung to the call,

His Marathon touched hearts of all,

A legend, a runner,

With each deliberate stride,

He took the fight,

To defy cancer's grasp.

Through sunny day's and through rain,

He ran,

On a pounding prosthetic leg,

An unfettered spirit,

A sign of fortitude,

A man against the odds.
