Sailing

shadowbones

Life is short, so stow the baggage- release from port. Sail the voyage because it's way to short. Ride the waves and love the days. Lean over the stern- walk towards the bow and wake to gain: we gotta earn our right to change. The sea is rough I have to choose- worthy destination I cannot lose. Must live without option. Through stormy days, the rains will prove. My anchors sunk, one day I'll move. A gentle rocking, calming groove. Tie the sails and rest the cannons. No more drifting until my life is through.
