For Astrid Wren My Little Bird
Now you are here
we just can't
take our eyes of you ..
Yes you, and your
big baby blue eyes ..
Hey, just look at
those hands of hers
too tiny, to catch
hold of his fat thumb ..
She sounds
like a puppy, while
he stands there
on guard, beside her
just gazing down
and happily,
beating his drum ..
For she,
there is no doubt
at all, is loved,
perfect and beautiful
all neatly
rolled into one ..
It was then, that he
cried through his
whiskers
and he whispered ..
I shall be brave for you
Astrid,
my dear Astrid Wren ..
Just for you,
my little bird, I shall
forever be wise
and always, be strong ..

Thank you LIZ .. I am very proud of my daughter for the gift of my first grand child Astrid Wren .. She is so new and I can not possibly describe the feeling when I hold her .. Neville 🤍
So very touching, it's unconditional love, and it's just what you deserve, every day Astrid will grow and in a couple of months she will start giggling, that's when I fear I shall lose my poetry friend lol , Nev you just can't get enough of a new born I know I've spent my life looking after them, so many stages and it's always different when we are a family member looking in as we can have all the fun and then go home! Even though knowing you it's hard too leave each day 🤗 enjoy this marvelous moment as you already know how fast they grow up. I know you are without doubt the best popps she could ever have. 💖
