Emotional Struggles

All of this sadness and all of this anger

All of these emotions

They are all so overwhelming

And I wish they could go away in a day

But that's not how love works

 

If I could make them go away, I would

If I could shut off my emotions, I would

Just so I could get over you

 

But I want to fall in love with someone

Who reciprocates the same feelings

I want to have a relationship like the movies

But those things will have to wait until I get over you

Which might never happen
