Oh moon, reveal yourself

umesh

Oh moon, the sky awaits your gentle grace,
Yearning to glimpse your radiant face.
Yet shyly you hide, a celestial play,
Behind veils of night, you softly sway.

Refrain, dear moon, from that screen of night,
Let your glow unfurl, embrace the light.
For hiding your visage, it's a cosmic sin,
Unveil your beauty, let this dance begin.

Bestow upon us your luminous boon,
One fleeting moment, under stars and moon.
With tender glow, light up the night's tune,
Oh moon, reveal yourself, let the heavens swoon.
