If all tragedies of life
led to a path of warmth
there would be nothing
left to write about.

Isn't that the truth!!! Because inspiration can sometimes come from the darkest places. Very nice!! 💖

        • Teddy.15

Having been to the darkest edges myself, I know that without those moments I wouldn't be able to scribble at all, reflection on my very personal journey dear Liz. Thank you sweet friend. 💖

This is the write that people need to hear darkness I can relate to world of tragedies but not to write we are poets and this is the real tragic world we live upon

          • Teddy.15

Dear Sunsetmet,Thank you so much for your wonderful review, I know I certainly would have nothing to write about if it wasn't for the life I've lived and I don't regret one single second. 💖

Without one, how would we know the other, framed so beautifully in this poem. We embrace them both, for they are who we are, who we become. Four lines of such wisdom my friend, love it!

            • Teddy.15

Ah my dearest Bella, thank you for noticing my scribble, i believe you to be an amazing writer so I am overwhelmed when you love my stuff so much. Thank you dear friend. 💖

                  • MendedFences27

Ever so true. Without one we would soon be bored of the other. A lot of wisdom in these four lines. It;s a keeper. - Phil A.

                    • Teddy.15

Thank you so much dear Phil, I'm so very pleased you got the meaning. Thank you. 💖

                    • Doggerel Dave

Teddy, your piece is smooth and neat, but are you saying that you can only write of your tragedies while there, however if you extract yourself onto a path warmth this is not worth a write? More uplifting, I would have thought.
                      Am I missing something?

                    • Teddy.15

No I'm not Dave I'm saying if there was no suffering that it wouldn't be worth writing about if it was all roses and light it would be boring. 💖

                      • Doggerel Dave

On that I couldn't agree more, Teddy. Contrast - light and shade.

                      • sorenbarrett

So short but true. There must be an opposition in all things. There can be no light without darkness. Very nice

                        • Teddy.15

Thank you so much dear Sorenbarrett. So very kind of you to come by to another one of my scribbles. Shall be back soon to catch up. 💖

                          just comfort love handles
                          and ennui lulls
                          convincing us, happiness
                          is but a mirage...
                          (lol
                          even too much warmth
                          comes with consequences)
I so relate with your theme
                          diamonds aren't born, they're made
and you're a diamond in the making
                          if you've realised
                          how struggle n pressure
                          helps you get stronger

                          • Teddy.15

Such a beautiful review, I've learnt first hand by reflecting on this subject, thank you my dear friend. 💖
