Faithful Mirror

Purplecherry

A meticulous look suggested,
every incident iridescence agreed,
The ricochet of rays foster;
Silhouette of a perfect self.
Innocence and virtue vie.
Mutual race towards the pinnacle.

A shroud over the din,
an original mirror,
Voices that witnessed the blood.
Unarticulated repugnance accumulates,
the silent scream intensify.
Yet the dilapidated glass remains gagged.

A strange serenity prevails,
my checkered past is not unknown.
It is dawn, yet another day.
Hide! Hide! Hide! your smirk
it's time, bravo boy!
You have tamed the mirror.
