Viewing faults

Odmi

Every second that ticks by

as the clock advances.

Every hour that passes

as the earth rotates.

A choice is made

and with it a result.

Was it right

or was it a dud?

As the earth revolves

seasons change.

As the years go by

calendars are replaced.

Your life moves

yet you reminisce,

so it is veracious

that the errors you won't miss.

Then it is natural

that with these memories

your mind will be lead

to raise some querries.

What if

I always chose right?

What would

my perfect path look like?

Never making a mistake

I'd be happy all day

breezing through life

no barriers on my way.

Sure, sure,

let's say

that

that's true.

Still I think

that you should live

viewing faults

a bit disparate.

Because it's easy to say

that consequences are bad

but with them come lessons

and although growth hurts

it is good for the heart.
