The Love You Gave

Leeog86

I have died a thousand times and live but for the love you gave.

Broken in a state of madness yet my heart was gladdened but for the love you gave.

I have cried a sea of tears; rivulets have formed on my face and still I was kept afloat but for the love you gave.

I have lived the darkest night, the black prison of the mind for so long my dwelling place and yet my spirit rises but for the love you gave.

I have often lost my centre and swayed from the fold yet through all the suffering and broken years you saved every tear.

Nothing wasted you never let go and here I stand free of all shame because you never let go.

I am here because of the love you gave.
