The deceptive dance

_dewysmiles_

To savour the nectar came the butterflies and bees,

with no shame, as if it was a game.

Savouring, they are, from that one jasmine which caught my heart.

It's fragrance a whisper, a work...of delicate art.

Butterflies with the wings of charm, bees with whispers sweet;

played a role of innocence, yet their motives indiscreet.

The butterflies and bees, the villains in disguise,

took advantage of it's sweetness,

while I, the witness, surmise.

Oh! how they danced and frolicked, their intension veiled in glee:

The jasmine gave its essence, not knowing of their decree.
