with shrinking skin on a peacocks street
sublime insole on the walking feet of worship.
tall ships of concrete whiter than the seed
that seeds farewell kingfishers eyes
sublime as sulphur, brighter than the ledge;
the ledge that lives and breeds four summers long.
the jumping jack that stains his curtained bride
jumps water hell on high
the muzzled paws of Jethro Tull
ploughing mermaid seed no brighter than a drum.
so comes and climbs her portrait on my chest.
a portrait dull and dutiful
handmade her child's balloon of consequence;
how deep the breast of cobb on corn resides
her swollen eyes of pollen
sweeter than her kiss
pissing rain on the dark side of my tongue!
truth and dare
she loves me not
her lochs that come and climb a heavens knot;
I love distilled
the water on her brain
the grain of love that bites her seven toes;
old foes on a glory ride to a thunder in the trees
trees once I dared to ride her hidden breast.
watch the sailors dress as they give up on their dead
fossil fuel for their duelling twins of tide.
with shrinking skin on a peacocks street
the walking dead
with sparrows in their heads;
old men in a narrow pride
standing still
beyond kingfishers eyes;
