Sometimes, there’s a blizzard
Strong as hell, the wailing winds a hand pushing back
Sharp ice, cutting and slashing
So, punch the air and shatter it
Just beyond a finish line awaits
Never too far away, no matter the wall
Sometimes, there’s a summer breeze
The whispering winds an embrace taking hold, gentle as home
Heavy heat, smothering and stifling
So, wear a content, sombre smile
To enjoy it a little longer
Always right in arms reach, despite any fall
