Ignoring your voice to save your life

Dr.Suryaraju Mattimalla

“How much did you suffer to die, my love?

I did not recognize your suffering.

Even though you are in my womb

I was feeling your pain but could not understand.

That you are dying inside my womb.

I was thinking it was a normal pain.

Ignoring your voice to save your life

Nobody should forgive my negligence, my love.

I am the reason for your death.

If I visited the hospital

You would have lived today.

But I neglected your voice to save you, my love.

You died after being vaccinated on the fourth day.

I would have visited the clinic after suffering severe abdominal pain.

But neglected by thinking it is a normal pain.

Negligence costs lives.

I lost you, my love.”

  • Comment from author about the poem: My African wife is carrying a healthy baby. She was vaccinated with Repevax on June 28, 2023, in the Bajuwarenstr. 1A asylum camp. The gynecologist is German, whereas the nurses are Arabs. Doctors at Caritas-Krankenhaus St. Josef in Regensburg informed me that my baby might have died on July 2 or 3 due to a lack of oxygen. Who is responsible for the death of my baby boy, Stanford Suryaraju Mattimalla? Is caste, race, ethnicity, or untouchability in India, Ethiopia, the Czech Republic, and Germany responsible for the death of my baby boy on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at the Caritas-Krankenhaus St. Josef in Regensburg, Germany?
