Survive Together

Cereal

I want to see the sky all day

With fog floating or hail crashing

I want to feel the wind on my face

Catch a glimpse of the lightening flashing

Walk around barefoot

Run until I bleed

Call the Sun "my love"

A garden's all we need

I write the words while you compose

The most beautiful sound ever heard

A melody that no one knows

Soon they'll sing along to every word

I swear I don't need much

To feel happy, to feel free

I just need your touch

And music to help me be

Loose and alive

Here I thrive

In my paradise

Where wisdom lies

In the outside

So let's survive

Together

Spend our weekends atop a mountain

Keep our home out on the road

Let's not shower for several days

And shovel our shit into a hole

Eat a mushroom out of the dirt

They show you more than Earth

Try something new each day

Keep learning what life is worth

Love everyone for who they are

Expect nothing, never judge

Reflect on every moment

Let go of every grudge

I swear I don't need much

To be real, to be me

I just need your touch

And music to help me be

Loose and alive

Here I thrive

In my paradise

Where wisdom lies

In the outside

So let's survive

Together
