A Dreadful Thought
What do I fear I am asked often
The simple answer is being empty
But that is not just the case
It's a curse, need for most but I
Know if I indulge in its poisonous beauty
It becomes an aching necessity
A world of self inflicted misery
Where love ones die repeatedly
Where unlikely becomes certainty
And joy turns into sorrow and despair
Oceans and rivers made of tears
And Screams making up the howling winds
Constantly Eroding away my heart
Till I have weeped my last scream
And cried my last tear
For that is what I fear

It is not clear what the problem is but the protagonist is in conflict. The reader can only guess what being empty means.
