Ghost in the mirror

Natalie Heisey

In your mirror , a ghostly face appears, it's haunting presence, is a soul lost in fears.

Eyes filled with deep  sorrow, searching for release ,A reflection of pain, lingering for inner peace.

The Whispers echo softly, secrets yet  untold, A tale of longing, a story to unfold.

Through the looking glass, a glimpse of the past, Memories entwined, shadows that forever last.

The ghost in the mirror, a specter of the soul,Trapped in reflections, unable to console.

Reaching for connection, to break free from the glass,Seeking solace, in a world that seems to pass.

But as the moonlight fades, and dawn starts to break. The ghost retreats, a fading silhouette's awake.

Thier Leaving behind a long trace, a lingering mystery as The ghost in the mirror, forever a part of history
