Queen Mother

Gary Edward Geraci

Wives, a man may have many,

A mother, only one,

Though the accidents may differ,

The form is that of a human,

Each animated by a Soul.

One King of kings, above all others,

With Him, they all share the earth;

Its oxygen, food, shelter, and

The kind love of a Mother.

    Good write Gary.
    I suppose I notice the Protestant view, that we don't pray to Mary.
    Meanwhile - they call me 'mother' now!
    Note to self: Do shut up Orchi. lol.

      Yes, O. Our love for Jesus compels us Catholics to think of His fine and firm love for His own Mother: He took on our human form and was born by a true human mother. We’re simply avoiding skipping over the details. “Mother” we will reverently say to her in the Kingdom of Heaven as she directs our gaze to her beaming and glorious Son: Jesus Christ!
