The corrupted ocean

Melancholia

An ocean filled with dark matter

Corrupting every sign of life

Worries are going to shatter

All light catching the eyes

Anxiety grows like cancer

Searching for an answer

To every worst-case scenario

Why can't my brain let go?

Making me responsible

For every outcome possible

Finding the right solution

But how, with all this pollution?

I know this shouldn't be right

My mind is too weak to fight

Who would have thought

Overthinking causes a flood

A natural disaster in my head

With glistening tears it's fed

I let myself be carried away

Gasping for breath

In my broken skull's depth
