Being 14

Ella-1427

14 is a weird age.

You’re too young to be an adult, but you’re told to act like one

You’re too old to be a kid, but you just want to go back and be that little kid again

At 14 you go to highschool. Not middle, elementary, kindergarten, or preschool. Highschool

The age when you look at your body and do anything to not see it again

You seen everyone else and think, why don’t I look like them

You do your best to be liked by everyone, because you can’t quite understand to like yourself

When you’re 14, you are still trying to figure out how everything works.

  • Comment from author about the poem: Just something about being 14. An age where so many things are running through your head, you don\\\'t know how to think all of them.
