Tune: St Timothy

('O Holy Ghost, thy people bless')

Psalms 33, 34, 35 parts

**********

Rejoice in the Lord, you righteous

He has come to save us

Praise is comely and beautiful

For those who love Him all

By His word were the heavens made

And all the host arrayed

Made by the breath of His mouth for

He Life-Giver e'ermore

O look to Him, be radiant

His Son Jesus He sent

Look to him, faces unashamed

We are His people named

The Lord nigh them of broken heart

Or of desolate part

Saves such whose spirit is contrite

And seek sure for the right

I shall say, Lord, who is like you

Who help again anew

You deliver poor and needy

From them who too strong be

Stir yourself, Lord, judge me rightly

And my troubled state see

Vindicate me, so enemy

Triumphs not over me
