ITS CHRISTMAS

Ancent Mulinge

Once again in our time, Christmas season is here,

For many we wait for the time, definitely and finds us here,

How will it be this time, will it come and find us here,

Give it its meaning this time, don’t just wait for it here.

Will I sing the carols once again, just as I did in the past?

Or listen to “Feliz Navidad” again, putting high volume as in the past,

Should I visit my parents again, for them to see their “grands” as in the past?

Will it be full of merry again, as always am used in the past?

In my knees I must be, glory to God to say,

In the church I will be, to Almighty thanks say,

In the house I will be, to the family appreciation say,

The right place I will be, to do and what’s right say.

The Christmas intention should be kept, let us get it rightly,

The child Jesus in manger kept, for us example given rightly,

Earthly riches not for us and not kept, will seek heavenly one rightly,

Christmas spirit to give always not kept, many eat and drink pass out not so rightly.

Our savior came to be in the day, Halleluiah to God I sing,

Sharing and giving to others in the day, in their homes carols to sing,

Blessings of God tap in the day, share with those who can’t sing,

Broad smile to fill them in the day, birth of Christ to celebrate.

MERRY CHRISTMAS
