Lonely Heroes

buzzybee4you

No shit.

I'm sitting in a pit.

As grave and grim

as killing on a whim.

I'm hurting and bleeding,

face streaked with red.

How can I go on

with the world on my head?

I scream and yell

till something rings a bell.

What if I'm actually in hell?

The blood runs fast

as I remember the past.

I sit in agony

my sobs playing a symphony

as a full band of skeletons

accompany me.

Skeletons who were hurt.

Who were put on the alert.

Their eyes sunken in

tears dripping from their chin.

Souls that scream an anxious cry

piercing the heavens in the sky.

Yet heaven takes a mighty hand

and gives the fierce command

to return the souls to the land.

They fly and fall

curled into a ball

and they land on their head

In the depths of a so called shed

where all souls suffer.

They cry and scream together-

an entire room.

pleading with heart for the end of their doom.

Will god hear those cries?

Or is there a lock on the skies?

If yes, where is the key?

We're all trapped here

we wanna be set free!

But no.

there is no key.

Not in reality.

So we'll have to get by just barely.

We are unseen,

lonely heroes

crawling on all fours.

Can anyone see us?

It's been hours!
