I hate you

tracy_kimie_

You used to show me off to the world

You used to say I was your queen

Yet you put me in exile

Then you say all you did was show me love

If love is deceit then take me to hell

All I ever wanted was eternal love

But somehow you brought me eternal pain

What's broken can never be repaired

I thought you were the one

But I guess it was all a mistake

I hate you

I hate that I had to meet you

I hate the fact that I gave you my life

I hate that everything you said was all just lies

You blamed me for things I didn't do

I walked into the lion's den

And I regret it so

May karma be your defeat

I hate you...

  • Comment from author about the poem: This poem is a reflection that one might have on their past relationship due to an unforseen betrayal ,which of course led to hate.As much as people say hate is a strong word ,some circumstances just force you to feel that way. I hope my readers can relate and connect to the poem

I can relate to it, it is the reverse of one that I wrote, I Picked Up The Picture. by Richard Martin. I like the honesty in the wording. Thanks
