The night is mine

falcon_mn

The night is mine

The night is my concubine.

A silent companion to my thoughts.

A night under the stars.

Truth in dreams.

I won't fall asleep while I wrestle with my thoughts.

This night has the right to that.

Tomorrow will give birth to a new day.

Another new day in a row.

All I have in my mind fits into a wish.

Imagined and not too big

For one more day and this opportunity,

To transform a new thought into a letter.

Verses are my treasure, golden thalers.

I shuffle and count rhymes in the gloom.

The night is my concubine.

A silent companion to my thoughts
