And of love?
love has endless angles
and is truly timeless
within my very own heart
there are stories
adventures
and memories
sometimes they can choke my soul
other times...
a fire ignites
leaving me, burning bright.

"sometimes they can choke my soul" Lord have mercy!! Isn't that the truth!!! π
What I want to know is - what is a 'tyger' in Blakes' poem?! lol. There's a liger, so maybe a cross between a tiger and a lion, but still spelt wrong as 'lyger'.
I must know these things of major importance. lol.
He was eccentric, so I wouldn't be surprised if he was thinking of some mythical beast, half-tiger, half-Fido. π
William Blake's poem has had so much inspiration on me Tyger Tyger burning bright in the forest of the night. I am a tiger π lol π€£
a tiger with a very talented pen Teddy;
My dear Melvin, it was you that told me to write with my heart, and I think I have driven my pen this way always. You must know how much you have influenced my scribbles with your kindness, even on your absence, thank you my dear friend. π
'Tyger, Tyger burning Bright!'
indeed our wise Poetess
roar loud n proud, leave behind
a fiercely defiant blaze
to inspire a generation of love..

π€£ thank you dear Neville. π
Love is a feeling that combines so many different emotions, from high to low, which you express beautifully in this poem. Your tiger is definitely burning bright here. You also inspired me to read Blake's "The Tyger", and for that I also thank you.
Oh do let me know what you think of it I find it extraordinary. Thank you once again for your beautiful words dear Bella. π
I read, and thought I understood what he was saying. I then read a summary of what the poet was conveying, went back reread, and everything fell into place. I found it remarkable! I know that my ear is not quite as atuned as I would like it to be to some poetic styles, and sometimes a little tutorial helps me see more clearly. Coming to all of this late in life, I have a lot to learn, but enjoing every minute. Thank you my friend for helping me see so much more!
