Blank Sheet

Teddy.15

Where love
once acquainted
weakened knees and butterflies

now lives the wrath of a broken heart

a solo performance on my piano

a solo performance of total silence

keys from a past life
that were once
finely tuned to perfection

now playing a blank sheet of music

I am silent

I am blind

I am lost.

Beautifully broken! But you know, I've learned that during that solo performance, insight comes in. So much comes to light....if we allow it!! Loved it! πŸ’–

My comments on the poem "Blank sheet” by Teddy.15
Thus, love has departed. This has resulted in frustration and resentment. There is even anger in the heart. From anger hardly anything positive can come out. It turns out that the musical performance is a solo one. It is even a performance from which no sounds come out : β€œtotal silence.” Even the piano keys are not those of the present. In the past they played perfect renditions. Now they play music from which no sound comes out. The instrument and the poetess are silent. The poetess is turned both blind and lost. A frustrated love can have this troubling effect. Emotionally affected writers are known to write tragedies or sad stories. Soman Ragavan. 23 September, 2023. //

The dark and a sad piece played in a minor key or rather should I say silently. What was once written now erased leaving only blank pages. Emptiness is similar to loneliness, and in both there is a sense of sadness. This poem conveys all these feelings to me. I hope that by now notes have found her way back onto your page ended the pianos finally tuned keys play again.

Thank you dearest sorrenbarret, my notes from many years ago now finely tuned. 🌹
