Something About Shells
There is something
about shells,
the nature and form
of them ..
The way that they
capture
the ocean and sound
of her voice ..
There is something
about shells,
the weight and feel
of them
as they do call to us,
o’er the cry
of desperate gulls ..
Yes indeed,
there is something
a tiny bit
special about shells,
as they lay
empty and waiting to
haunt us
with the call, the kiss
and the
mighty roar of the sea
..

Whenever I take up a shell and listen to it - melodious tones? Nope, all I hear is KP nagging in me 'shell-like' (me ear)! lol.

With care - round here some seashells can contain (if they haven't vacated the premises) very antisocial (read poisonous) little buggers.....
