Tune: Ruth
('Summer suns are glowing')
Proverbs 15 v.1-7
********
A soft answer, gentle
Turns away wrath all
But grievous words, harsh they
Stir up anger's way
The tongue of wise uses
Knowledge right, each says
Useful things and good they
Proclaim day by day
But the mouth of fools pour
Foolishness for sure
The eyes of the Lord are
in each place, not far
They behold the evil
And the good as well
A wholesome tongue a tree
Of life and health be
But perverseness therein
Breaks the spirit, sin
Causes a disruption
Confuses each one
Fools despise instruction
Listen unto none
But they who reproof heed
They prudent indeed
In house of righteous there
Much treasure to share
But wicked's revenues
Troublesome, bad news
Lips of wise knowledge spread
But of fools is said
Their heart it not wise be
As the righteous, see

- Comment from author about the poem: A hymn-poem in 6.5.6.5. 6.5.6.5. while Summer suns last. Any hymn tune for any time of year though really, though Goldie will shoot me if I mention Ch..... apart from in December! lol. Wear your shades again for the dazzling sun in the video.

Thanks V.
I loved this one Orchi too bad that there are so many fools that don't listen to instruction. (by the way you have an extra s in instruction second to the last stanza) I guess it is not only me that makes a typo once in a while.
Thanks SB.
Wise dear Orchi, and oh so true. I gotta say Amen!
Thanks B.
