Dancing 'til Death

peyweddle

Who is the better dancer?
I do not know
For I am just a prancer
Dancing for you
On a tightrope
Waiting for my doom
That is my past
But will I be cast
In the never-ending show
Losing my flow
I can't keep dancing
This is my casting
But will I get the part
Stretching 'til my body falls apart
All dancers go through aches and pains
But do all these dancer's shoes have bloodstains
Graceful as a dove
Beautiful as new love
As a flower just beginning to bloom
But this dance will forever encase them in their tomb
Heartbreak and pain
Dancing through the rain
Stuck in chains
Dancing until the end of time
The chains clink together making them sound like windchimes
It's the music of the wind
All the devil did was grin
While I had to do all these tortuous spins
Dance until Death
