Destination2

John Prophet

Destination.
Path
forward.
Creation’s
road map.
Difficult
to read.
Heading
unsure.
Which
path
to travel?
Frozen
in place.
Not sure.
Which way
to turn?
What
road?
What
direction?
Moving
forward
decisions
to make.
Side
by side
iterations
flow.
Different
results
each.
Infinite
journeys
all made
by one.
Over and
over
the story
plays
out.
Unlimited
lines of
approach,
astral
planes
to explore.
Infinite
forks
in the
road.
Travels
everlasting.
Creations
intent?
Unknown!

blank pages as our road maps
    we traverse a life designed
to have us stuttering our success
    while gliding effortless
    to all the abundant woe
    in our accursed paths..
    (better we don't know
    what new flavour of strife
is waiting around that next corner
    or else, i doubt
    any of us would bother
    learning to stand as children
    knowing
we're better of just crawling around
    realising
it won't be long till we're back down
    on our hands and feet)
