दिल में एक आस तो हमेशा ही रहती है
की जो मेरा है काश वो मेरा ही रहे
पर ऐसा होता कहां है
वक्त भी हमेशा कर देता है कुछ कमाल
अब देखो जो उन्हें तो लगते हैं वो अनजान
सोचा था जो हमेशा रहेंगे साथ
पर आखिर हैं तो वो अब अजनबी
फिर जान लिया हमने भी सोचने और
हकीकत में फरक बहुत है।
देख लिया जो एक नज़र उन्हें
तो नज़र वो फेर लें
फिर अब जो मिला लें वो नज़र किसी और से
तो क्या हम करें
रह गई हो शायद कुछ कमी मेरे उल्फत या मुझमें
अब हैं जो हम बेबस, तो क्या हम करें
पर दिल में एक आस तो हमेशा ही रहती है...
