Times and dates, can’t be denied, but
Interference, makes them slide, as a
Cancel culture, is so strong, where
Knowing the truth, can be wrong, as no
Entry is given, if the code says: shut,
Token is broken, prolonging the cut.

- Comment from author about the poem: Too many delays, and too many fakes! Fact of the matter is, is that in these frustrating modern times, just because you have a ticket, the powers that be, a strike, or the fact you bought it form a certain website in good faith, might make it invalid. So, here is my acrostic outlining a frustration. The accompanying banner picture is apt, as it is a clear visual stating that, time is running out for our species to sort things out. I hope that you enjoy the poem, and as always, please do stay safe everyone.

nice poem
Thanks for the read vividvoid14, and for your short and sweet praise.
I hope that all is well.
Terrific in form, flow and clarity, cleverly conveying the message of the write. Nice work!
Thanks for the read Pop64, and for your very kind words, they are very much appreciated.
I hope that all is well.
So much of the knew phraseology these days is not in tune with these aged ears, and I must rely on those your age to clarify. I do however agree with you as to the state of a world where truth seems to be a relic of the past, and to trust, you must keep your guard up. Great write, keep your finger on the pulse!
Thanks for the read Bella, and though I'm technically a millennial, I too have certain gripes with the new lexicon that has been formed by the putridity of popularism. Though I understand a bit of it, I still prefer actual language.
I'm glad that you're onside with the ever decreasing sight of truth, which is in my opinion, sadly, because of the greedy culture that is made by humanity, is like a packet of crisps, that is on the shelf, ready to be bought by the highest bidder, in order to mold it into something that is not truth, but sells it as such.
I will remain vigilant, I hope you will too, thanks for your kind words, and I hope that all is well.
