Lord, I need you

Lord I need you to shine your light on us,

We try to do things right and be fair and just,

Things are so hard right now, it's as if we're being attacked left and right,

Deliver us from this darkness and help our faith in you fight,

Fight for our health and our financial situations,

Bring peace into our lives and our family relations,

Bring unity upon our brothers and sisters in you,

To fight the good fight with all that we do,

Lord please, ease our pain and bring comfort to us,

Shine your Holy Light upon the lost and the just,

Thank you for never turning your back on us,

Especially those of us in need, even though at times we might put up a fuss,

Lord I need you now more than ever,

To guide me through this time of darkness that has invaded my endeavor,

Please bring peace into my heart and comfort to my soul,

Lord I need you, for You are the only one that can make me whole.
