TIRED
Of being nice! Of being good! Of being real! Of being true! Of losing sleep. Of being still! Of saying yes! I want to scream!
Of painful ends with no regrets! Of fake connections that don't last.
Of guarding dreams I got on hold! Of burning tears I cry alone!
Of wishing, of hoping, of caring too much. Of wanting to hide the things I hold close. Of sad broken hearts that fracture my soul. Of loving so deep, but feeling so lost.
Of touching rough hands that choke all my love; and this might just be, what hurts me the most!

The expression of being too tired of it all, wanting to give up, comes through with clarity. But, never give up, let the one spark that may remain ignite the fire of all your strength, all that can still be possible. By writing of it all, it allows you and the reader to be tired, but to not stop.
