Nostalgia

Theoyinadee

You would think that without you, the river would not flow; but
One day you will miss that beautiful piece of me
You will look back but I would be lost to you and I would have found better
The way I cared about you that you could not see
All of the laughter, the ones that reflected the happiness we shared
The texts I sent you, telling you I hope you had a beautiful day
And my prayers, the ones that echoed all my good intentions to God
On those important days, when I delicately expressed the feelings I had for you on paper
You will miss that stubbornness of mine that drives you crazy
That name of mine, your favourite, that rolled off your tongue like a half dreamed murmur
And when you look back on all of these things, I hope it hurts as much as it did for me
Because you would cry and almost go insane like I did

such emotion and truth bleeds through the ink of this penned write. Thoughts, sad and yet strong, are provided clearly and with tact. May you grow from the seed of truth and may the seeds of love and hope yet grow again.
