A Conversation with Mom

I looked up to the sky Today

I really didn't know what to say

So I said "Mom,you begin"

So you asked me how I'd been

"Not very well without you"

To which you replied "here's what I'll do"

I'll come down from the sky

As I have wings now you see,so now I can fly

To give you a hug and a kiss so as to ensure 

That our love will be constant and always endure 

And do so in a manner that we

Will feel each day until you join me

Not on Earth as we were,but in Heaven you see

But,reluctantly,I'll have to go

And though I know the tears will flow

Please know I'll always love you

To which I replied "I'll love you too"
