Angles Are Waiting by Richard Martin

Angels Are Waiting            by Richard Martin  286

Angels are waiting for me tonight,

For they’ve shown me wrong from right

Many wrong paths I’ve taken in life,

Many a sad day, many with strife

Angles are waiting to take me home

I am so happy that Jesus I’ve known

No more pain or sorrow to bear

Just joy and happiness there I’ll share

Angles are waiting, and I see the light

Now more pain and sorrow in me tonight

Soon I’ll be living in that heavenly home

Up there in heaven and I’ll never roam

Angles are waiting here by my side

To take to my home in that heavenly sky

Others may weep for me when I have gone

But I’ll be rejoicing in my heavenly home
