Lost in Time

Introverted Sage

Can I just lie in your lap for a moment.
For my heart will not let me get up.

Millions of lifetimes remembered.
Some paths that seem to get stuck.

I don't know if time is my friend now.
As I seem to be lost in this haze.
Watching the minutes turn to hours.
Months flying by like the days.

Time does go by fast doesn't it? It can be exhausting. But, that's why we can't take anything for granted. "Millions of lifetimes remembered"! Loved it!!

    Ah sage
It flows and rhymes so smoothly the reader is at the end almost directly after reading the first word
    Amazing write

    (loved the vulnerability
    and questing poetry
    a poignant read, dear Poet
i'm sorry if my words below
    come across as preachy
    or something
    that wasn't my intention)
    dimensionality
    within the prism of reality's
    perspectives
is a thought process, that can soothe
    but like all things
    before we can achieve anything
    we must first visualise it
'As I seem to be lost in this haze.'
embrace the haze, let the blurry
offer a window to foggy outlines
    of our endless possibilities..
    being tired, is also
    part of the journey
a time, for us to centre ourselves
    reflect and learn...

Doesn't sound preachy at all. I appreciate the feedback and insight!
... 'if only we could bag up all the heaviness we hold in our heart and throw it away as easy as we do the trash'
      Thank you!!
