…….Once shot in the head, I instantly appeared before my maker, the great contemplator; couldn’t tell it’s gender because there was just splendor and pure light. I could hear it telepathically in my own voice, with a omniscience reasoning I knew wasn’t mines, a scary magnificence but yet I was compelled to stay calm, asked me why I cursed the name told to me was divine, I said because I know you existed before names was spoken, and your children tell lies, they wear names as a disguise, we’ve had many men don those names as they rise, even the Bible has more of our fingerprints than God’s; it was than I felt it’s consciousness brush up against mines, it told me I was wise, but disconnected, most of your points will be deflected, into the abyss of human rigidity, the usual bases of our overall stupidity.

'even the Bible has more of our fingerprints than God’s'
the saddest part
is that it was 'many differing' fingerprints
so in chapter
you have an all compassionate empathy God
then in Psalms, its a God of weaponry
demolish my enemies, kill my hater
..
excuse me, what logic is this
the same God that counts all
as His children
is now going to wipe a whole tribe out
because the other side prayed more?
same in other religions
Jews have humanity's fist superhero
a Golem, a Titan, a Defender
that only protects Jews...
hmmm
and Muslims, scream 'by God's will'
as they press that anti aircraft missile..
ermmm, well what about the poor pilot
where's God's will, then?
so you see
what ever avenue to faith, we had
was corrupted from its very foundation
and yet
ask a 3 year old, they will tell you of Love
as a God, of a truth as good
but in ten years, they'll have forgotten
their answers...
such is the curse of fallibility we inherit in every generation..
(I so relate, dear Poet)
Exactly!
I really find it hard to understand what gives in folks with religious beliefs.....
Lol, their beliefs comforts them
