I tuck my little fantasy away
And save it for a rainy day
When clouds are dark and thunder rumbling
And it seems like all I do is fumbling
My little fantasy
As small as it may be
My little fantasy
Waits there for me

And I wonder....is today that rainy day? Because I'm ready for that little fantasy! π Beautiful! π©·
I think it is, and It's time to indulge. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine. Take care!
Ohhhh let's go!!! πππ Thank you Bella!!
Lovely to read as per
But you leave us wondering what the fantasy could be
A poem in the making possibly
Clever to leave the reader wanting more
I'm sure I just heard a roar in the distance
It's neat, it's sweet and can't be beat. You're a joy, dear boy!
A teaser, Bella. I know - you will tell me that it is YOUR fantasy, and not to share....but still.... π
Oh Dave, if I told you it wouldn't be a fantasy anymore. Be a good boy!
'Long time since I've been told to be a good boy, but it's just ...hang on ....no?...yes...I think it's just bought on a fanta.... sorry must close now while the goings good......oo ah!....
I always say strike while the iron is hot, hope it was a good one!
Rainy days and Mondays get me down... Awe dear Bella a beautiful write. π
We all need our little place to go, and spending time here with you always makes Monday a Funday.
π
Lovely writing Bella ))
Thank you my dear!
My comments on the poem "My little fantasyβ by Bella Shepard
When no solace or help is to be found from elsewhere, we can only delve deep within ourselves. We have no choice but to console ourselves. Thus, we must find and keep that strength within us. Soman Ragavan. 12 September, 2023.

I love your comment, and it is so true. Thank you so much for reading.
You are welcome. 12 September, 2023.
Excellent piece Bella, and yes we doππ
I appreciate you reading my little scribble, and thank you for your kind words.
Best not tell me it. I might swoon! heehee.
I'm in fantasy land with KP. Doh!
If I told you Orchi, you probably would. The fantasy with KP, would that be "Nightmare on elm street"? Take good care my friend!
Thanks Bella. Yep, you guessed it! lol. They were going to cast Freddie in it again, but he was not scary enough to play 'The Phanton Trout' - a new version. lol.
Fantasies are marvelous as they let us all indulge in more often those things we cannot have or are taboo. Yet, serve to provide a happiness when needed or wanted. Beautifully expressed.
Thank you my dear friend. You express so well our need for those little fantisies. Take care!
Bella this is such a wonderful thought and piece of advice. We advise people to save their money for a rainy day but seldom are we told that it is just as important, if not more so, important to save emotional profit for those days as well. Loved this piece Bella
That emotional profit is so very important dear friend, thank you for this insightful comment, means the world!
one can only imagine .. in the wake of a wish .. and wonder slow .. delightful in its brevity dear Bella .. Neville
Thank you so much dear Nev. Those little fantasies sometimes give us a little R&R from life just when we need it. We're having fiber optics installed in our subdivision, and internet is hit or miss. Sorry I didn't see your comment sooner. Take care my friend!
(love your tonality
in this subtle droplet of wisdom
thank you! kind Poet)
yes, this is one of my coping methods
I will save a fantasy
or a song, or a movie, a book
anything
because I know when life
throws
those blind sided, punches n slaps
I'm gonna need them
to help me hide and survive
till I can rise again, shake it off
and smile bright
L.B. you express it so beautifully. I too go to a favorite book or movie and let reality just slip away. It's good for the mind and the soul.
so true wise Poet
it really is, fighting everything is exhausting
we have to learn when to strategically retreat
and save our energy..
(but what do i know) lol
Knowing when to let go, wise words indeed!
Fantastic work.
Thank you so much dear friend, how kind of you!
