I'm Still Not Over You

Jasmine Swift

2 AM, the second first night without you.

This time, it's even harder to get through.

My friends ask me "What's going on?"

I simply say "I've moved on."

Yet I go back to what we had.

If you were the one, I would've been glad.

Even now, I still cry in your favorite T-shirt.

If only we were forever, and you kept your word.

And people think what I say is true.

But the hard truth is, I'm still not over you.

I found out that you've got a new girl.

3 months after you said I was your world.

And I know you shouldn't be something I think of.

But I can't help knowing you're still the one I love.

We were something, don't you think so?

But our love just couldn't stay afloat.

I still think it would've been sweet.

if the girl in your future would've been me.

And people think what I say is true.

But the hardest truth is, I'm still not over you.
