Guarded Heart

Spoken-Thoughts-Khloe

I guarded my heart
From the stray bullets coming out of your mouth
And I should have known that you would have been the one to let me go
You held me down when I was trying to get back up
And made me believe that I was worthless
That is why I'm sitting here tonight
Drowning in my own sorrow
Because you were the one who let me rip myself to pieces
And even though it was all of your fault
You still let me take the blame
