To trust someone totally

Is to let them in

Your heart and soul

And feelings deep within

 

To share your dreams

To be authentic and real

They are your person

So you feel comfortabe to reveal

 

But when trust is betrayed

It breaks your heart into pieces

You feel you can't do it again

As your face in others decreases

 

You build a high wall

To protect your fragile heart

The wall is high and tall

And can't be torn apart

 

Eventually someone breaks the wall

And you gain your faith again

You take another risky chance

Hoping this time you win
