Master of One

Introverted Sage

If I said I disliked words
Would you try to understand?
Just like you dislike numbers
Maybe that’s the master plan.
But I’m consigned to write
Whilst you were trained to fight.
To be similar would be quite bland.

See I don’t dislike words
In the context you may think.
I’ve danced with them all
In the pools of Sophie’s sink.
Stories twirl inside my brain
Bringing my mind to the brink.
Yelling, ‘tell someone besides yourself’.
And then I start to shrink.

Whispers or yells
Which one do you answer?
Guidance is there
Just look for the lanterns.
A sip from Wisdom’s Cup
We’ll get there faster.
It’s only ourself
We came here to master.

Beautiful, as opposites attract and wisdom should be drank by all this is wonderful metaphor. 💖

      Thank you!

Yes, opposites do attract and only cause chaos when balance is not made. Everything has its opposite in life just as everything has a middle.
Self control and how we respond to the chaos and calm around us is how we create our magic and live our lives as our best selves!
        Thank you Maxine!
