Care Because You Do

...

Care because you do, not because you should.

Love something as pure and deep , like the way a mother would.

You see,

Love and compassion, kindness and warmth, is something so hard to give but something we all want.

So caught up in what if's, or if my love isn't good enough,

But in order to feel the love it first needs to come from us.

We define love however we please but it is all around us, if we could just see.

..

So love yourself the way you want to be loved,

Love your friend the way no-one else does,

Love your enemy like the way they love to judge,

Love the people who never believed in love.

..

That way, even if they don't understand,

The love you've shown would never be misunderstood,

So love because you do,

And not because you should.
